Condiment – Topical Fruit Salsa

  • 1/2 cup diced mango
  • 1/2 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/2 cup diced papaya
  • 1/4 cup minced banana
  • 1/4 cup diced mandarin orange sections
  • 2 tbsp diced purple onion
  • 1 tbsp minced cilatro
  • splash of lemon juice

Mix lemon juice with banana to keep from browning.  Mix all ingredients together, adjusting onion and cilantro to taste.  I use this on oily fish like salmon after it’s grilled.  The fruit acids cut the fish oil, neutralizing the flavor a bit.
